General order no. 141, 1864 April 4.

Consists of general order no. 141, issued by the U.S. War Dept., Adjutant-General's office, concerning the military trial of Alfred Etherly for treason and guerrilla activities. Etherly was convicted of leading a band of guerrillas to the home of Elias B. Harris of Cheatham County, Tennessee and taking Harris and Thomas S. Bartlett prisoner.
